Description

Our guest on today’s bonus episode of My Veterinary Life Podcast is Dr. Jonathan Runstadler. Dr. Runstadler is a professor of Virology, Immunogenetics, and Disease Ecology in the Department of Infectious Disease and Global Health at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. We had a great time learning more about infectious diseases and brushing up on some of our virology knowledge. It was incredible to learn how quickly his lab pivoted from working on influenza research to working on COVID-19 studies. He even shares some of the latest research they are working on and what they hope to accomplish. This is a really great way to learn yet another way veterinarians are making a difference during the pandemic! If you are looking for the most up to date resources and information on COVID-19 as it relates to veterinarians, please visit avma.org/coronavirus. The team at AVMA is working around the clock to keep this information updated. Thanks for joining us on this journey! We hope you continue to stay safe and healthy! Remember we want to hear from you!
