Any sweep is a good sweep, but a sweep against a division foe is always one to celebrate. The St. Louis Cardinals did just that by sweeping the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park over the weekend. A lot of things went well for the Redbirds, scoring 15 runs on 25 hits over the first two games and then Carlos Martinez dominating in game three. Tyler O'Neill looks like a new player, and John Gant is still good at baseball. The Cardinals come back home for a four-game set with the Mets, and Adam Wainwright gets the ball in game one in his first start back from the COVID IL.
