The Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) is one of the oldest associations of Military Officers and one that is not as well known as some of the others. In talking with Commander Okin it became abundantly clear why that is, much of their efforts are directed to service to the youth of this country and low key from a publicity standpoint but very valuable to those they serve. Many times, it is the efforts of one or two Companions, as they refer to their members.
