With the Delta variant running rampant and the Covid pandemic continuing, Grant speaks about the latest news in the sports context (including soccer) with two accomplished doctors in the field. Dr. Celine Gounder, Grant's wife, is an infectious disease specialist and epidemiologist at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Bellevue Hospital, the host of the Epidemic Podcast and was a member of the Biden-Harris Transition Covid Advisory Board.
Dr. Robby Sikka has worked with a variety of sports leagues and different entertainment industry resources to manage Covid and has been involved since the start of the pandemic with the Covid Sports and Society Work Group, a public-private partnership that works with the CDC, the White House and all the major professional sports leagues. Until recently he was the VP of basketball operations and player wellness with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he is presently working with NFL and NBA teams on Covid and all things sports analytics.
