Description
Isi Leibler's newest New York Times article managed to anger both left and right. On the one hand, he says that the two-state solution is not currently feasible, but at the same time he believes that as an eventual goal it must not be abandoned. So which one is it? Leibler served as president of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry and Chairman of the Governing Board of the World Jewish Congress. He was one of the pioneering global leaders in the campaign on behalf of Soviet Jewry and played a role in the lead up to Israeli diplomatic relations between India and China. He spoke with Yishai about his Times article and told the story of his efforts on behalf of the Jews trapped behind the walls of the Soviet Union.Support the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/yishai)
