Description

Hear the story of Capitol Police Officer Jeffrey Smith who committed suicide after QAnon conspiracy theorists stormed the capitol to overturn the 2020 Election.
Amidst the heat and rage that characterized the Storming of the Capitol on January 6, Smith sent his wife Erin a text saying London is Falling. About 3 hours after this message, rioters struck Jeffrey in the head with a metal pole. He worked into the night and saw a medic at the police clinic the following morning, however, Erin recalled the 35-year-old officer was in constant pain and looked unwell in the days that followed.
On January 14, Jeffrey was driving to work and stopped mid-way to shoot himself dead. Erin recounts she was concerned that he had been ordered to return to work too soon despite his health condition.
Details continue to unravel about how many Americans have been impacted by the violence, destruction, and pain the indecent mob caused during the storming of the capitol. Many of these people who stormed the capitol now regret it, or say they do. They believed in these lies and subsequently have ruined their lives for Trump and Q and these conspiracies.
Listen to the full episode to catch details of Jeffrey’s death and the QAnon conspiracy.
