Description

Today we are hanging with Jeanine De Bique. Described as a "revelation” and “breath-taking from start to finish” (NRC, Netherlands), Trinidadian soprano Jeanine De Bique is recognized as an artist of “dramatic presence and versatility” (Washington Post, USA) with a “voice full of fire and cream in equal measure” (musicomh.com). Ms De Bique holds a Master degree from the Manhattan School of Music. In this Hang we talk about ‘staying ready’ and having a mind-set that keeps your focus on your goals. Like the ‘little train that could’ that would say ‘I think I can, I think I can’ until you can say to yourself ‘I know I can, I know I can’. I’m fascinated and inspired by Jeanine in equal measure. Without a doubt one of the most incredible singers on planet earth today. Jeanine certainly does have ‘the gift’ but she has also grafted to get to where she is today. Jeanine’s continued work ethic to ‘stay ready’ and not resting on any laurels is a blueprint anyone can use in whatever they work towards.
