Digital Optica is the manufacturer of a DLP otherwise known as a Digital Occulting Device A new invention that uses a UV dedicated Pico projector in conjunction with a CCD or CMOS imaging sensor and a simple processing software for the purpose of imaging faint celestial objects by occulting brighter foreground objects that would otherwise not be visible to the viewer or imaging device.
