Description

In this week’s episode of Smoke N’ Science we’re going to dive into some language used to describe different cannabis varieties. There are hundreds of different Cannabis varieties that exist, and new ones are being created every day. The different types can cause very different effects on our body because they contain different molecules! The most common term to describe these types is ‘strain’ but the Cannabis industry is evolving to include newer more accurate terms, mainly chemovar and cultivar. Let’s discuss the different language we use to describe Cannabis and where we see Cannabis classification going in the future!

*Note: All opinions expressed in this podcast are just that. We are NOT medical professionals making formal recommendations; we are just two cannabis scientists speculating about what we would and wouldn't do in theory!
