The Assist the Officer Foundation sits down with one of the most genuine human beings that Dallas PD has to offer.
Kevin was born in Orange County Texas and grew up in Houston and became a die hard Astros fan. Living a fans dream in becoming a Houston Astros batboy then climbing that sports fan  ladder and becoming an Assistant Equipment Manager for the Houston Rockets.  Kevin finally pursued his dream to go into law enforcement and becoming a true public servant. 
Joining the Department in 1991 Kevin quickly obtained a reputation for being a “project guy” and spearheaded the Dallas Police Department newest project known as Interactive Community Policing.  This model of policing is now used in every part of the country. 
Kevin tells his story of true friendship, partnership, and tragedy as he tells the listener about how his own personal guardian angel saved his life.
