The script was also used on the November 8, 1959, program. On December 31, 1899, in an elegant house in London, in a charmingly furnished drawing-room. It's New Year's Eve, and the new century is about to begin. The housemaster is about to leave for the South African war. As the clock strikes midnight and the new century begins, the usual British stiff upper lip attitude prevails, but the joy of the moment fades and is replaced by sadness as the master goes off to war and the bands play "soldiers of the Queen." In Richmond, Virginia, deputy sheriff Ed Hunter arrived. Dodge was able to apprehend two men wanted in Virginia for murder. The men's names were unfamiliar, but a photograph of one of them, taken seventeen years ago, bore a striking resemblance to a close friend of Matt Dillon's.*Support the channel**Merch:*social media:*Follow me on Instagram:*Follow me on Facebook:https://linktr.ee/cowboyclassics*Our Affiliates Partners:Check out Health Ranger Store LINKS: https://linktr.ee/cowboyclassicsThis post/video contains affiliate links, which means that I may receive a commission if you make a purchase using these links. #westerns # wildwest #otr #oldtimeradio #cowboy #western #westerns #wildwest #otr #oldtimeradio #cowboyclassics #podcast #classicwesterns #cowboylife #cowboyhat #cowboyup #cowboystories #cowboystoriespodcast #cowboylifestyle #cowboymoviesSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/cowboy-classics-old-time-radio-westerns-podcast/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
