Titles in the series (100)

We share stories about running, told by women runners from around the world. Many episodes feature one woman’s story, focused around a topic that is central to her journey or central to her experiences as a woman runner. Some topics we’ve covered: aging and longevity, community building, RED-s, pregnancy, and the mental game, and we have an entire series about “experiences at South Africa’s 90-km/56-mile Comrades Marathon.” We also feature an entire series about 9 women’s journeys to the 2021 Boston Marathon: Roads to Boston 2021. This series traced the running stories of all these women, from the beginning, to earning their Boston entry, all the way to the finish line. We believe in the power of story to uplift, inspire, motivate, educate. Host/creator Cherie Turner, a competitive athlete since age 5, former professional bicycle racer, and a passionate runner for over two decades, also brings her own experience, challenges, and discoveries to the show, with the intent of inspiring others to pursue their own exceptional running journey, whatever form that takes.
