Description
Former Surrey, Kent and England opening bat MICHAEL CARBERRY talks us through his journey from the streets of South London to playing for England in front of ninety thousand fans at the MCG on that tour of 2013-14, where England was thumped 5-0 by Australia and the tour was remembered not only for the result, but also the withdrawal of Jonathan Trott on health grounds and Graeme Swann's shock decision to quit straight after the Melbourne test. "Carbs" also tells us about his health problems and also his experiences of racism and has strong views on what needs to be done to bring young black players back into the game.
We also look at his new career as a talented artist (please visit www.michaelcarberryart.com) and listen as he says his experiences in life have given him a positive outlook on life.
