December 26, 2004 a 9.1 earthquake hit in the Indian Ocean creating a 100 foot wave.  Killing 230,000 people and hitting 14 countries this was a moment that changed history. 
I hope we can all take a moment and remember those that lost their lives, the heroes and the missing.
