Description

This week your favorite weebologists talk about a series that seems to have quite the cult following, Akame Ga Kill. This was a show from the Summer 2014 season of anime by White Fox studio. The show follows Tatsumi, a country bumpkin with designs on becoming a hero in the big city and sending lots of money back to his poor rural village. Very quickly Tatsumi is swallowed up in the big city and all is not what it had seemed. The story follows him and Night Raid as they work to subdue the corrupt government through assassination. We talk through why we think this show has garnered such a significant fan base, why this harem was both good and bad, and why the edginess of this show seemed fairly well done for the most part!
