Description

Bret is joined by Erik Veld, Manager, Developer Advocacy at HashiCorp, the creators of Nomad. Nomad is an orchestrator like Kubernetes and Swarm but it has a unique set of features that make it an interesting alternative on multiple levels. It's known for having a much simpler infrastructure design than Kubernetes, and also having a stronger community and feature release cycle then Swarm. Erik talks about the basics of Nomad, the reason it was created and runs through some demos. Streamed live on YouTube April 7, 2022.Unedited live recording of this show on YouTube (Ep #165).
