Based out of Syracuse NY, the band has shared the stage with such diverse artists as the Zac Brown Band, Jon Fishman of Phish, Gov't Mule, Cheap Trick, Gregg Allman, and many others. Their debut album is scheduled to be released in December 2017.  Chris Eves and the New Normal has been featured recently in Relix, A&R Factory and Skope Magazine as well as featurettes in Jammerzine, Jam Band Purist and The Old School Project. Among their many shows and festival appearances, which includes a headlining slot in The Jam For The Land Festival (Stowe, VT), Sterling Stage Festival Ameribeat (Sterling, NY), Seedstock (Cortland, NY), Rochester Fringe Fest (Rochester, NY), Taste Of Syracuse (Syracuse, NY) and the Corn Hill Arts and Music Festival (Rochester, NY) coming up in the 2019 festival season CHRIS EVES AND THE NEW NORMAL have already secured billing for Flannel Fest (Rochester, NY) as well as The Strawberry Jam Music Festival (Turin, NY) and they are securing more festival appearances in the coming weeks.  Chris Eves and the New Normal has played some of the region’s top venues and supported some amazing talent as well, including multiple supporting roles at The Westcott Theater opening for jam powerhouse SPAFFORD, JAZZ IS PHISH and ROBERT RANDOLPH & THE FAMILY BAND. Funk N Waffles with the likes of THE HEAVY PETS, THE MELTING NOMADS and SOPHISTAFUNK. And, at esteemed venues throughout the Northeast including legendary places like The Bitter End, Nectars, Arch Street Tavern, Flour City Station and The Range. Chris Eves has even joined the ZAC BROWN BAND on stage for a rendition of their hit song “Keep Me in Mind”. Dates are filling up fast and tour announcements will be released in the coming weeks.
