He's being chased by a ton of pitchers - San Diego Padres RHP Mackenzie Gore, Cincinnati Reds righty Hunter Greene and left Nick Lodolo, and Padres SS CJ Abrams. In the American League, OF Steven Kwan of the Cleveland Guardians won the AL Rookie of the Month for April, but he's NOT the frontrunner for ROTY, that would be 1B Spencer Torkelson of the Detroit Tigers. Houston Astros SS Jeremy Pena, Minnesota Twins RHP Joe Ryan, and the twin sensations of Kansas City Royals SS Bobby Witt and Seattle Mariners OF Julio Rodriguez are both trailing. Finally, we chat about some of the prospects that may or may not break into this board over the next month, with special significance given to Boston Red Sox prospect Triston Casas and St. Louis Cardinals farmhand Nolan Gorman.
