Description

Ricardo Cortés is an artist, writer, publisher, and the #1 New York Times best-selling illustrator of GO THE F*CK TO SLEEP. His most recent project has been taking a small New Yorker magazine "Talk of the Town" piece by legendary author Jamaica Kincaid and turning it into a children's book called PARTY: A MYSTERY. Ricardo illustrated this book but also visualized the entire thing and worked with Jamaica to turn it into a Nancy Drew-like tale from the New York Public Library. Listen to us talk about how he thought of this exciting project, what it was like to have GO THE F*CK TO SLEEP become a blockbuster hit, illustrating for kids vs. adults, and collaborating with a legend.  Our GDPR privacy policy was updated on August 8, 2022.
