Description

Episode 116 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports,   features Arizona Coyotes director of goaltending operations Brian Daccord, plus a double dip of interviews to celebrate the launch of the entire CCM EFlex 5 line and highlight the new features. In the feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, we go in depth with Daccord, whose experiences in the game are pretty much unmatched: from a playing career in college and Switzerland, to goalie coaching in the NHL an top German league, to becoming the first full-time goalie specific scout in the NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs, to now working with the Coyotes in the newly formed director role. Oh yeah, he also runs Stop-It Goaltending, a huge multi-location goalie training company with on and off ice facilities, and he's a goalie parent, with oldest son Joey in the NHL with the Senators and younger son Alex playing for Saint Anselm College. This interview touches on everything, and was so good our host Daren Millard listened to it twice. In our bonus conversation with Mathieu Giroux, the goalie category leader (Goalie) at CCM, and goalie product manager Kaylie Dankevy, we deep dive what's new in the EFlex 5 line, and the position-specific research and planning that went into it. All that plus, another trip to The Hockey Shop where Cam and Woody look at the launch of the CCM EFlex 5 chest protector:
