Description
InGoal Radio Presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports this week features the man many consider to be the best to ever play the position. Martin Brodeur won three Stanley Cups, Four Vezina Trophies, and more games than any goaltender in NHL history during his 22 seasons in the league. He joined us this week for nearly an hour while in Vancouver for the NHL Draft.
Brodeur spoke to us at length about reading the game, his strengths, his mental preparation including breathing and visualization and much much more. He shares stories of learning to play the puck, and how he bested Ilya Kovalchuk in a shootout after his own pre-scout and how he saw Kovalchuk and his teammates acting on the bench amongst others.
It was a privilege to sit down with this icon of the position this week and we are sure you will enjoy joining us for this episode.
Also, we lead off with Cam from The Hockey Shop in our gear segment, looking at Warrior's new lineup of sticks before engaging in a discussion about the benefits of the new stick technology.
