Alan Johnson is the founder of Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop in Gadsden, Alabama. For nearly 30 years, the shop has produced turnkey custom hot rods that have racked up awards across the country, including The Detroit Autorama “Ridler Award,” the Goodguys Street machine of the year, Street Rod Builder of the Year, the Goodguys Rod & Custom Trendsetter of the Year, the Chip Foose Design Award, the Shades of the Past Street Machine of the Year, and many others.
