The Zodiac Killer – an infamous serial killer who terrorized the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly a decade – has not been captured or identified to this day. Was this string of gruesome deaths the product of a deranged genius – taunting police with letters, ciphers, and phone calls? Or rather, was it the work of one or more attention starved nut jobs that were the beneficiaries of inept police work and the technological limitations of the time. We’ll get to the bottom of it.
