Description
Terry Evans is the team chaplain for the Atlanta Braves. He also serves with UPI, Unlimited Potential Inc, with a desire to teach and equip baseball players to grow deeper in their walk with Jesus Christ. Before becoming a chaplain, Terry was a pro baseball player. He was selected in the 47th round of the 2001 MLB Amateur Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals and six years later, would make his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Angels in June of 2007. His pro career ended in 2012 and soon thereafter, Evans found himself becoming the chaplain for the Braves the following year in 2013. Today on the podcast, we talk to Terry Evans about the World Series, why he missed attending the Braves clinching win over the Astros, how he became a team chaplain and his mission to help baseball players become followers of Christ. --- Looking for a great gift idea?
