Description
Troy Walters is currently the wide receivers coach with the Cincinnati Bengals. In 2021, he helped rookie receiver Ja'Marr Chase break many NFL records and was a part of a team that won the AFC championship and played in Super Bowl LVI. In college, Walters was a standout receiver at Stanford and in his senior season of 1999, he was named first-team All-American and won the Fred Biletnikoff Award as college football's outstanding receiver. He would go on to be a fifth round selection of the Minnesota Vikings and play eight NFL seasons with the Vikings, Colts, Cardinals and Lions. Today on the podcast, we talk to Troy Walters about the 2021 Bengals run to the Super Bowl, finding the positive in the midst of a tough season-ending loss, seeing coaching as a calling and how he's grown in his relationship with Jesus during his football playing and coaching career.
