The last week of the regular season is finally upon us! Hunter starts the show by recapping what the heck happened in Philadelphia as the Penguins lost to the Flyers and they barely even bothered to show up. Is this a concern for the Penguins moving forward? Hunter touches on that, while also assessing the play of Louie Domingue. Were there goals that he should've had back? He also looks at the team's defensive play in that game and goes into why that can't happen a week from now, no matter who the team plays. After that, he breaks down the win against the Red Wings as the Penguins basically toyed with them the entire game (outside of the first 10 minutes). He touches on how Rickard Rakell continues to be better than expected and ponders if this is the best trade acquisition of the Crosby/Malkin era. He also shouts out Kris Letang for another superb performance and again pleads the Penguins to re-sign him, even if it's for a longer-term than some may want. Hunter then breaks down Evgeni Malkin's return and how the anti-Geno people need to get over the fact that he's still playing at a high level.
