How's everyone doing after that crazy game? Hunter starts the episode off by getting into the core players and how they were the main reason why the Penguins were able to bring this home. He especially shouts out Kris Letang for his heroics and how his dad was definitely with him while he was on the ice for this game. He analyzes how he played offensively and how the Penguins badly missed him over this last month. He then gets into how Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby had VINTAGE performances in this one and how the power play in particular really needed that spark that Malkin was able to provide it. He also laughs at how Ryan Lomberg poked the bear (Crosby) and why it's never wise to do that. After that, he does address Casey DeSmith's performance and how it was the worst one of the year. He analyzes what he saw from PPG Paints Arena and if this is going to be the norm going forward or if this was just an outlier. He also does make the point that he can't get too many starts in a row because he's just not built for that. Finally, Hunter praises the 4th line for having one of their best games of the season as Drew O'Connor and Danton Heinen were all over the ice.
