There's been a lot of hype around the Red Sox #2 prospect Triston Casas over the last year and fans can't wait until he gets the call to the majors. Casas most likely would've made his debut this year if it wasn't for an ankle injury in May but luckily he's back on the field and continuing to develop.
Massachusetts Pirates Team Insider Jake Ignaszewski interviews Casas and asks him about his past relationship with Hosmer during high school and explains his reaction when he found out that Hosmer was traded to Boston. Then Casas shares what he figured out was the reason he was struggling after his ankle injury and breaks down why he's had so much success as of late. Lastly, Casas dives into his mental preparation and what he does to prepare mentally for the game.
