The January 6 Committee hears witness testimony detailing the Oval Office meeting between Trump and his inner circle in which they allegedly discuss ideas to overturn the 2020 election, including invoking martial law and issuing an executive order to seize voting machines. The final bombshell of the hearing came when Rep. Liz Cheney said the Committee had informed the DOJ of Trump’s attempt to contact an as yet unseen witness.
