Lexie started working in vintage in 2013, but made vintage her full time gig in 2020 when she transplanted to Somerville, Massachusetts. Lexie Butterfly Vintage specializes in bold colors, wacky prints, and fun and unique styling. Lexie loves sewing and is all about sustainability in her shop –  from bringing damaged pieces back to life to creating a new garment from vintage fabric, she’s committed to “using it up and wearing it out.” I met Lexie at the Manhattan Vintage Show, and was immediately obsessed with her – this is the place where I got that rad white leather Western jacket with the floral embroidery!  So it was such a blast to have her on the show today to talk about all things psychedelic hippie vintage, restoring truly old pieces, estate sales, and what might be the wildest sourcing story I’ve ever heard….
