Description
Before we get to the show notes, I wanted to take some time to say that my thoughts are with the families who have been affected by Hurricane Dorian. Here is a link to an article that shows where you places where you can support the people who need it the most: https://clairejefford.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=10584&action=edit TikTok Helping To #SaveTheOceans TikTok is a social media platform that allows people to create short content in various forms (music, skits, etc.). It's a platform that is used by a younger demographic. It's a great platform to not only raise awareness of environmental problems but to raise money for a great cause. Conservational International has teamed up with TikTok to raise money to save the Oceans. Every time a creator from a particular country uses the hashtag #SaveTheOceans, TikTok will donate $2 to the fund (up to $100,000). Find out more details by listening to the episode.
