Description

Today program is our 2020 annual Christmas Special.

Before we get into the details of the show I just want to again personally offer my thanks to the great team here at CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO including regular contributors Jason Drury, Eric Silver, and Robert Daniels.

Randy Andrews had been part of the team for a while now with his ANIME SPECTACULAR program but I just wanted to once again say how happy I am that he has brought SOUNDTRACK ALLEY over to the network this year. We'll have one more episode of SOUNDTRACK ALLEY before the year is out featuring music from a classic film by a legendary composer.

David Coscina, our in-house composer, also started a new show, COMPOSER CONVERSATIONS. If you haven't had a chance to listen to his shows I highly recommend you do especially if you are a composer yourself.

We welcomed Ley Bricknell and her fabulous monthly program FILMIC to the network. I've been a fan of her show for years. Ley is a charing, sweet, funny, friendly, warm human being and for those that have listened into her shows know that already. We'll have one more episode of FILMIC for you before the year is out.

And of course, we can't forget the voice of CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO, Tim Burden.

It’s been a tough year for everyone - not only here on the network - but all over the world. We do hope that you are staying safe during these tough times and hopefully the programming here on CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO has injected a bit of hope and join into your life during the past 12 months.

On today's program, five CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO hosts come together again to celebrate the holiday season by playing Christmas themed music from a wide variety of film, TV and video game scores.  Join Eric Silver from THE 1UPBEAT, Robert Daniels from OBSCURE SCORES, Jason Drury from THE ARCHIVE, Ley Bricknell from FILMIC and Erik Woods from THE FLAGSHIP SHOW for our annual yuletide spectacular.

On the show today you are going to hear music from JINGLE JANGLE: A CHRISTMAS JOURNEY (Debney), JINGLE ALL THE WAY (Newman), a medley of SUPER MARIO BROS. music (Various Artists), THE CLAUS FAMILY (Dern), and SILENT NIGHT, ZOMBIE NIGHT (Salvucci). And stick around 'til the end of the show for a cut from Douglas Pipes KRAMPUS.
