Description
To say the least, our recent snowstorm was completely unexpected. Unfortunately, the snow and the cold completely destroyed my garden. Unlike years past, this time I decided to plant a fall garden. In today’s episode, I discuss how I cleaned up my garden, what I planted for the fall, why I’m planting cover crops now, and what I’m doing with our brand new greenhouse. Overall, this is an entirely new experiment for me, so it’s going to be interesting to see if I have any success come winter. Are you planting a fall garden this year? If so, make sure you let me know what you're planting!Head to www.PrairiePlanner.com to get The Old-Fashioned on Purpose Planner now!Garden cover crops: https://www.theprairiehomestead.com/2019/10/garden-cover-crops.htmlHow to plant garlic: https://www.theprairiehomestead.com/2015/09/how-to-plant-garlic.htmlTo begin this homesteading journey, head to http://www.theprairiehomestead.com/grow to access my full library of resources to guide you down the path.Visit my blog at www.theprairiehomestead.com for tons of FREE from-scratch recipes, homestead inspiration, and old-fashioned tutorials.Get your Old-Fashioned on Purpose hats & shirts at www.homesteadswag.comFollow Jill on YouTube: http://youtube.com/theprairiehomesteadollow Jill on Instagram: http://instagram.com/theprairiehomestead
