Description

Ron Duguay opens the show talking with NY Post sportswriter Mollie Walker. She shares memories interning for Stan Fischler, what John Davidson said to the media on a conference call about the Rangers players staying fresh right now without hockey and what she loves about being a sports writer. Fischler, the longtime hockey historian and analyst, then joins the podcast. Fischler starts by telling a joke then discusses hockey and his life now in Israel, having Mollie intern for him and she talks about her experience interning for the maven. Fischler also talks about the 24-team playoff format, how unpredictable it will be, changes in the game over the years, his favorite Rangers player to interview and who his two best hockey players ever are. Fischler then dives into Rangers history and talks about the founder of the franchise, Tex Rickard, before Ron ends the chat stumping him with a trivia question.
