Ok, let’s continue with the phrasal verbs. A phrasal verb is just a verb and a particle. For example, “get in”. If you haven’t checked out the first episode about phrasal verbs, please do it. Remember you only need to learn the most frequently used phrasal verbs. Also, instead of learning all the different meanings of each phrasal verb, simply learn one or two common meanings. Ok, let’s get started! Today, we’ll play a bit with “get”. Get along / get on Do you have friends? Then, you’ll probably use this phrasal verb. It means to like each other. For example: I’m surprised how well I get along with my mother-in-law. The older and younger members get along well. I get along very well with foreign people. You can also use “get on” instead of “get along”. It’s exactly the same meaning. For example: I’m surprised how well I get on with my mother-in-law. The older and younger members get on well.
