The Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 is causing less severe disease but the virus itself is not becoming less pathogenic, a new study has found. Cambridge University’s Dr Ravindra Gupta explains the implications of this study and the future of the pandemic in an interview to host Nehal Chaliawala.
