Not only did Barr set out to make the ludicrous claims about secularists that he did, but Secretary of State Mike Pompeo promoted his own speech on the United States State Department website with the headline, "Being a Christian Leader." Bart sees this as a direct response to the fire under which Trump finds himself, a rallying of the base, and shares some thoughts about how secular people can articulate their own positive values in a powerful refutation of this demonization.
