Mike Sacks writes about comedy for The New Yorker, The New York Times and Vanity Fair to name a few but he also writes comedy himself. His latest book, Passing on the Right is written from the point of Skippy "Batty" Battison, a fictional right wing comedian, podcaster and satellite radio shock-jock whose takes are too hot for the mainstream, or so he believes, and who is so familiar I was sure he was based on an actual person (Sacks swears he is not). The book, like all of Sacks work, is hilarious.
