We also discuss several families within the cult that had their lives changed forever. Merry Berg, Amy Bril, Vivian Shillander, and the Padilla family are a few ex-members that we focus on in this episode. With rampant sexual and child sexual assault, a distrust of medical science, and religious prostitution, few ex-members escaped unscathed.
