Description

Hi, this is Allison Sheridan of the NosillaCast Apple Podcast, hosted at Podfeet.com, a technology geek podcast with an EVER so slight Apple bias. Today is Sunday, September 12, 2021, and this is show number 853.

This week's show is something completely different. This week Steve and I traveled across the country to visit four very dear friends of ours, two of whom we had never met. In the live chatroom, Kevin, also known as Big_in_VA, has designated himself as Steve's wingman with the important job of protecting Steve from me. It was our fist order of business to visit Kevin at his Virginia home. We had an absolute blast meeting him and his family, and especially his dog Winnie.

Then we moved to Maryland for the next part of our adventure. We've been following and in friendships with the SMR Podcast hosts for what we think is around a decade. We had the pleasure of meeting up with Robb Dunewood at a couple of Blogworld Expos ages ago, and Rod Simmons has had frequent travel to the West coast so we've gotten to hang out with him a lot. But Chris Ashley never crossed paths with us. It was time to remedy that situation.

If you get four podcasters together, you're sure to get a podcast out of the deal. In the very special show you're about to hear, I interview, Robb, Rod and Chris about how manage a cross-platform world as they use Windows, Android, macOS and iOS in every possible combination. It's a little structured for the SMR folks, but they rally and stay (mostly) on topic! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
