Today we focus on Yoda, the most powerful Jedi Master. We discuss two different excerpts from George Lucas regarding Yoda and some very interesting behind the scenes details. [1] The first discusses a cut scene of Yoda taking Luke’s lightsaber to fight a monster on Dagobah in an early script version of The Empire Strikes Back. This would have been such a cool moment to see. We open up this scene and examine George’s original idea. + [2] The second is something that so many people have wondered about : Why does Yoda talk the way he does? How did George develop the way Yoda talks? Yoda has some of the most quoted lines in movie history and they are spoken in such a strange reverse cadence. We find out why from George himself.
