Japeth Mennes is an artist and musician who lives in New York City. From 2012-2018 he was a member of the experimental rock group Dead Painters. He received his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. Upcoming visual art shows include a solo exhibition at Ampersand Gallery in Portland, OR (opening August 7th), and a three person show at Stockton University Art Gallery in 2022.
