Description

Morrie Schwartz died three days before Election Day in 1995. Had Morrie been alive to see this year's election, he most likely would have been less concerned about who got into the White House than how we behaved once the election was over. Media has fueled politics. And politics has put quite a dent in humanity. On today's Tuesday People episode we discuss the importance of being accountable for our own behavior and putting love ahead of division. Mitch also talks about how "Tuesdays With Morrie" would never have come to be if it weren't for the media and a Nightline interview Mitch just happened to catch late one night featuring his beloved former professor.
Morrie always said "Love each other, or perish." We seem to be worried a lot about perishing, but not a lot about loving one another. Let's all try to remember these words as the coming days unfold.
