In Episode III, Yoda unexpectedly hears the voice of his long deceased Jedi ally, Qui Gon Jinn, as a Force ghost. He begins to realize that Qui Gon has transcended and at the same time he is still very much conscious and able to interact as himself with the physical world. Revenge of the Sith briefly touches upon this.The Clone Wars took pieces from George's original Episode III script and the novelization to show more of an in depth interaction between Qui Gon and Yoda.
