Description
Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena). F9 sees the action hurtle around the globe, and along the way, old friends will be resurrected, old foes will return, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family will be tested like never before. No matter how fast you are, no one outruns their past.FOLLOW USFollow Daniel on Twitter, Instagram, and LetterboxdFollow Shahbaz on Twitter, Instagram, and LetterboxdFollow Anthony on Twitter, Instagram, and LetterboxdFollow The Movie Podcast on Letterboxd, Twitter, Instagram, Discord, and YouTubeANNOUNCEMENTSNEW EPISODE: 109: Interview with Tara Strong, Voice Acting Legend and Miss Minutes in LokiREVIEWS: Loki, Luca, Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, A Quiet Place Part II, In The Heights, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, Spiral, Friends Reunion, Cruella, Army of The Dead, Riders of Justice, MODOK, Master of None Season 3, Those Who Wish Me Dead, Wrath of Man, Without Remorse, Mortal Kombat, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Recaps, Mythic Quest: Everlight, Love and Monsters, Shiva Baby, The Unholy, Godzilla vs Kong, and more are available now on The Movie Podcast feed! Dads Review (TIFF 2019): TIFF: Dads is a joyful exploration of contemporary fatherhood. The film draws on the testimonies of famous funnymen such as Judd Apatow, Will Smith, Jimmy Fallon, Neil Patrick Harris, Kenan Thompson, Jimmy Kimmel, and Ken Jeong. Their reflections are combined with portraits of non-celebrity dads from different parts of the world. Note from Daniel: I was lucky to have watched "Dads" with my own Dad and to see the reflections on his face of the trials and tribulations he faced in fatherhood was extremely moving. Also, Ron Howard himself replied to me on Twitter how proud he was of Bryce for this film. It truly was a night to go down in history. by The Movie Podcast
