Description
This episode is in partnership with SAP SuccessFactors.
Kathleen Hogan, Chief People Officer at Microsoft, may oversee 160,000+ employees, but she never really planned on going into business. What the former Harvard mathematics major really wanted to do was become a professor.
Although life took her down a different path, Kathleen doesn’t regret it. Finding she had a knack for business, Kathleen learned how to ascertain when situations called for flexibility and when it was necessary to advocate for what she needed. Navigating a path to an executive position as a single mom through two bouts of breast cancer, Kathleen is a strong supporter of both intentionality and vulnerability as a means to connect and grow with others. She has worked tirelessly at Microsoft to create a culture of inclusion that attracts and inspires the world’s most passionate talent.
