Description
Google's Wing App, Parrot Anafi AI, Critical infrastructure and Skyfish's new purpose built technology
In the fourth edition of Drone Life News, Paul and Miriam McNabb of DroneLife and JobforDrones discuss some of the latest and most exciting news from the world of drones.
Our biggest story this week is about the launch of Google's Wing App and its purpose to assist Drone Pilots in navigating through US regulations and providing all required regulatory information in one location.
We discuss Parrot's new Anafi AI drone release, a drone that is not only an insect inspired design but has active detect and avoid technology inspired from insects. Other features include future proof aspects that Parrot has actively included to account for possibly future regulations to ensure their drone stays relevant for Drone pilots with changing regulations.
In other conversations we also discuss the burning need for FAA to define critical infrastructure and how in its absence, local authority are stepping in to regulate drone flights. Having critical infrastructure defined allows Drone Pilots to clearly follow a unified regulatory framework with no ambiguity. We also discuss about Skyfish's new purpose built technology to specifically help infrastructure companies perform engineering measurements more accurately.
Certainly, you do not want to miss our show as we go over in detail over these topics.
