Our question for today is from Bob who would like to know about navigating the surveying industry as a drone pilot and taking up drone jobs for surveyors. Bob is one of our active listeners of the podcasts and has sent in a well thought of, relevant and detailed question on the surveying industry. We thank you for your support and inputs, Bob and happy to respond to your question today from our experience working on surveying jobs.

In our response to Bob's question, we first talk about our experience thus far in the surveying world and our interactions with surveying boards and legal departments in the US. Paul elaborates how surveying boards can present archaic laws that can hamper the development of the industry through introduction of drone technology.

We then jump into discussing the future of surveying by drones and what the future lies ahead for this industry. We also discuss inefficiencies in the surveying by drone industry and how pilots can navigate these hurdles. We talk about accuracies, errors in deliverables and survey jobs that provide recurring revenue opportunities and make profit for a drone business.
