A pastor's wife, Kayla found her world turned upside down when her husband Andrew took his own life in August of 2018 after an ongoing struggle with depression. Forced to reckon with a world that had never properly prepared her to deal with mental illness, Kayla decided to devote herself to ending the stigma surrounding suicide and offer a message of hope to those who feel like it's been lost forever.
