Shelby Kilgore was born in Korea and adopted by a white couple just before she turned one. Veronica was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, through the closed adoption system. Melissa sat down with them to chat about their stories and how the project came to be. They also chat about the importance of open health records for all adoptees.
